Booking & consultation
Your bag is a consultation request, not instant checkout. A route editor reviews your selection, party size, and preferred dates, then contacts you within one U.S. business day with availability and a written proposal. No charge clears until you approve the final itinerary.
For peak seasons (June–August coast and alpine routes, March spring break mesa corridors), we recommend eight to twelve weeks. Shoulder seasons often accommodate four to six weeks. Custom open-territory builds may move faster when lodge inventory is flexible.
We arrange domestic connections and regional air when it serves your route architecture. International airfare can be quoted separately. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance and will note coverage gaps specific to your territories (altitude, weather, activity level).
Services & pricing
Listed prices cover itinerary architecture, lodge and activity holds for two travelers, and editor support through travel days. Park fees, some meals, gratuities, and airfare are itemized in your proposal. Larger parties receive adjusted per-person economics in writing.
ROAM15 applies fifteen percent to eligible consultation deposits on catalog journeys when entered in your bag summary. It does not apply to third-party airfare or already-discounted custom builds. One code per household per calendar year unless we publish otherwise.
Yes—those constraints shape the territory sequence. Tell us during consultation about walking endurance, stair avoidance, wheelchair access, and dietary filters. We redesign days rather than bolting inaccessible activities onto a template.
Changes & cancellations
Every proposal includes rain or smoke pivots for outdoor-heavy territories. During travel, your editor helps resequence holds when safety requires it. Supplier penalties follow each vendor’s policy; we advocate on your behalf when force majeure applies.
Deposits are partially refundable up to sixty days before departure, minus documented supplier costs we cannot recover. Inside sixty days, refunds depend on lodge and guide contracts. Full terms appear in your signed proposal and our Terms & Conditions.
